Conan - Hyborian Adventures - ACS v3.5



Conan Hyborian Adventures is now released on the ACS v3.5.
Featuring a new advanced combat system, it takes its bases on the L5R rules system.

Based on the nwn system, as It can't be modified, it works a little differently now:

Base AC + Reflexes + Defense + Shield - Armor Penalty


*Armor Penalty Table*
Unarmored 0
Light Armor -3
Medium Armor -5
Heavy Armor -10


So that, the heavier your armor the better you get hit.

**Localization**


For now on, each blow is localized on the target's body.


*Localization Table*
- Head
- Chest (more chances to get hit there)
- Righ Arm
- Left Arm
- Right Leg
- Left Leg

If you're wearing a shield, the shield will be hit instead of the left arm.

Each area has its proper effect...(knockdown, damage increased, blindness, etc..)

If you're wearing an armor, you'll see these lines in the description:

[Armor's Name]

Armor Rating: 8(Chest)/4(Right Arm)/4(Left Arm)/5(Right Leg)/5(Left Leg)

Integrity: 500(Chest)/200(Right Arm)/200(Left Arm)/300(Right Leg)/300(Left Leg)



Then as you can see, each localization has its own Armor Rating value, and Integrity value.


As usually with the ACS, the Armor Rating is deducted from the total amount of damage you receive from one's blow.
If you reduce the damage to 0, you receive no damage but a 10 seconds movement speed decrease.


Integrity is your armor's health.
As you take damage, your armor takes damage too.
The more damaged the less it protects.


Helms and shields work the same way, but they have only one AR value, and one Integrity value.
